VHP leads protest march in Dharmatalla against Purulia Sadhu incident

  • Vishwa Hindu Parishad orchestrated a large-scale protest rally, against the brutal assault on sadhus 
  • The rally commenced from Wellington, near Hind Cinema, and made its way to Dharmatalla Metro Channel
  • The girls beacuse of language issues mistook Sadhus as kidnappers, which led to mob lynching of Sadhus in Purulia, 12 people were arrested on last Saturday

In response to the heinous attack on sadhus in Purulia on January 11, a protest rally was organized by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) today. The demonstration saw the participation of hundreds of saints who gathered to voice their concerns and condemn the violence. The rally commenced from Wellington, near Hind Cinema, and made its way to Dharmatalla Metro Channel.

The incident unfolded near Gourangdih when three saints travelling in a vehicle stopped near three girls, who were on their way to a local Kali mandir, and asked something.
